Our 3 Favorite Milk Frothers

This week we posted a new video from our "Coffee & Life Hacks" series. If you haven't watched it yet, check it out HERE.

The point we made is that small changes, like frothing your milk, can make a huge difference. Hopefully this means you're ready to ditch your Starbucks card and start drinking fresh, deliciously home brewed coffee!

To help you get started with frothing, we decided to share our 3 favorite milk brothers with you. One of these is the perfect fit for you!

1. BEST OVERALL - The Nestle Nespresso Aeroccino 3

We think the Aeroccino is awesome! It holds enough milk for at least two lattes and is super simple to use (one-button gadgets are the best!).

You can choose to do cold or hot froth with just an extra push of the button. And you can also choose between a latte-like froth (denser, with less fluff on top), or a capuccino-like froth (lots of fluff on top) by simply swapping the accessory inside the frother.

The Aeroccino looks good, is easy to clean, and doesn't take up a lot of space. It's the frother of choice for both Barba Coffee co-founders. You just can't go wrong with it.

2. BEST HANDHELD - The Bodum Schiuma

One quick search online and you will find a number of handheld frother options. It's simply one of those cases of very simple mechanics that can be made very cheaply by just about any brand.

The reason we like the Bodum Schiuma is because it's just as inexpensive as any other option out there, but it has a name to live up to. Bodum is super well known in the coffee world, and their products are at once accessible and durable. Plus, they look great!

The one major shortcoming of most handheld brothers is that they don't warm up the milk. So you either have to warm the milk before frothing, or simply froth the drink after you've added milk. Still, being able to easily carry around this little magic wand anywhere you go earns it a spot on our list.

3. BEST MANUAL - The Ninja Coffee Bar Easy Milk Frother

If you're trying to save up on batteries or your electric bill, or maybe you're concerned about the environment or simply like to do things the #RUSTIC way, then this is absolutely the frother for you!

The Ninja Easy Frother is a well thought, simple-to-use frother. You can add milk to it before sticking it in the microwave. Once your milk is warmed up, all it takes is a few pumps for the froth to begin to build.

This frother looks nice and gets the job done (you can even count it as daily exercise!). If you're looking for something without the hassle of batteries of power cables, then this is the option for you.

Of course one option we haven't mentioned is the usual steam frother included in most espresso machines.... Hey, if you have the cash for a nice one, and you're ready to take that step, then more power to you!

For the rest of us mortals, one of the options above will do just fine!

Do you already own a frother you like? Share with us in the comments so others can learn about it as well.

That's it for today. Now stop reading blogs and go be awesome!
